An Artist’s Thoughts
The greatest
art is hung on a nail , but not in the fine galleries of
He is hung between earth and heaven.
The most beautiful picture of unfathomable Love, He outshines all else I can see.
People ask me what I think of the great artists of the world,
There are no great artists but One,
And merely men that know this great God, and men that do not.
Many paint to show themselves. They live to impress themselves.
But He lived to show us true beauty.
May my brush be His! My life energies sing His Love!
Today look upon the things He made, even blighted with sin.
A mothers loves still bears His signature, and the brier bears the rose.
The winter yields to spring , and death is but a sleep awaiting dawn.
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion
on the son of her womb?
Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee
upon the palms of my hands. Isaiah 49:15,16
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30
